The Annual DFJL Tackle Football Awards Dinner for Grade 8 Players and their parents (both parents are invited, however no siblings) will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, 6:30 – 9:30 PM @ The Wee Burn Country Club, 410 Hollow Tree Ridge Road, Darien. Please plan to arrive and check-in by 6:15pm.
This event is a long-standing tradition of the DFJL and is a unique opportunity for the players, parents and coaches to celebrate their time with the DJFL. This event will include speeches by the coaches and a recognition of every player. There will be guest speakers who will provide a history of their own time in the DJFL and discuss the opportunities that are ahead for the 8th grade players.
Important: RSVP and Payment required by Thursday, December 1, 2022.
- Cost is $70* per person and includes a full dinner and dessert (cash bar and interclub charge will be available for adults)
- Dress attire required including collared shirt and dress or khaki style pants (no jeans, sweatpants or sweatshirts),
- Current 8th grade coaches do not have to pay for this event, however, they must be included in the number of reservations so we can track overall attendance and capacity limits.

To register, you must complete the form on the first page and then continue to the second page to make an online payment. Note: If one of the guests attending is a coach or manager, then do not include that person in the number that you fill in on the first page, but do include their name in the note section of the “Name on Registration” and then indicate that the coach or manager’s name that will be attending.
If you are not able to pay online, and need to pay by check or cash, please contact your team’s manager below to arrange to drop off the check before the RSVP date) -- payments will not be collected at the door.
